Program Overview

Brain Child Program for NeuroDevelopmental Delays

We choose not to generalize a single point of view as we find it limits how we solve the problem.  Therefore we use multiple modalities when evaluating brain function and the cognitive abilities of each individual.

There is an overwhelming increase in the number of children faced with perceived and real neurobiological-based dysfunctions. This has resulted in an estimated 5-15% of our nation’s children being labeled with a variety of learning, mood and behavioral issues. Those labels separate these children from their peers …. and later in society.

When a child is identified as having a “brain-based issue” such as ADD, Autism, or a learning disability (LD) they often get caught up in the label and are not allowed to go beyond it. They are referred to as ADD, Autistic, or LD, rather than a child with those issues. Therefore, they become their label or issue/s. Another way to look at it, is how we as a society refer to someone with a physical malady such as a cold, a broken leg, or even cancer.  You rarely find a parent or peer referring to such an individual as a Cold, or Broken Leg, or Cancer.

NeuroCoach® NeuroDevelopment Program Overview

Brain Child looks at brain issues from a physiological, genetic, metabolic or neurodevelopment point of view. If neurodevelopment is the issue, it is viewed as an “underdeveloped” part of the nervous system, or what we call a developmental delay, based upon lack of maturity of the different functional brain systems, not lack of maturity of the child. There is a big difference between the two.

Brain Child programs first determine how the brain receives, stores, processes, integrates and expresses information. Then from the NeuroCodeX® neurodiagnostic assessments and analysis an individualized program is recommended and solutions outlined in order to overcome these developmental delay issues.

Brain Child programs are cognitive enhancement training programs that balance and enhance brain-processing skills. The tailor-made programs for each individual focuses on learning, IQ development, behaviors and social maturity skills, with emphasis on overcoming ADD/HD, dyslexia, reading comprehension, math and other learning challenges, as well as behavior and social interactions.
